The aim of this programme is help to conserve a part of the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest by participating in tree planting, trail work, research activities, sustainable living and food production as well as some community educational projects in La Hesperia's Biological Station nature reserve. Opportunities to carry out research projects and long term internships for students as well as short term volunteer projects.
Three different types of programmes are on offer - the Cloudforest Conservation Programme, On the Way to Sustainability Programme, TVL (Travelling, Volunteering and Learning 2 week programme) and the Social /Education Programme.
For all programmes, volunteers are needed for periods from 1 weeks up to 3 months.
The cost includes shared lodging in cabins, 3 meals a day, training and supervision, project materials, backup and support; starts at £370.
