 Tsau! White Lion Conservation Project, South Africa 
An opportunity to work with the 'world-first' reintroduction of White Lions back to the wild in their endemic area - the Greater Timbavati region, in South Africa. Volunteers are trained as active members of the scientific monitoring and research team. Participants have a rare opportunity to gain hands-on game-ranging experience whilst making a valuable contribution to the long-term conservation of the white lions.  From August 2009 onwards.
 
Statia Conservation Project , St. Eustatius, Caribbean
Work in the tranquil island of St. Eustatius, overlooking the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean Sea, helping to conserve the Marine and Quill National Parks of the St. Eustatius National Parks Foundation.  Volunteers take part in sea turtle monitoring, trail work in and around the dormant volcano, botanical gardening, species monitoring and more from August 2009 onwards for 1 to 6 month periods .

Cheetah Conservation Project, Botswana
As a research volunteer with Cheetah Conservation Botswana you will be participating in hands on research to help conserve the world’s fastest mammal, the cheetah. You will be carrying out vital research within the Kalahari desert in Botswana, assisting the research and community education team with their activities. As of October 2009.
 
Iceland Wilderness Management Programme, Iceland
Volunteer to work, restore and preserve one of the most beautiful National Parks in Europe - the Skaftafell National Park in Iceland, and live and work in the heart of pristine Icelandic wilderness.  2 weeks are spent in Skaftafell doing trail and wilderness work, and the last week is spent in the highland Nature Reserve area Fjallabak, an area famous for its hot pools and brightly coloured geological formations.  As of July 2009.
      
 
The aim of this programme is help to conserve a part of the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest by participating in tree planting, trail work, research activities, sustainable living and food production as well as community development projects in La Hesperia's Biological Station nature reserve for 2 weeks up to 3 month periods. 
 
     
Nevada Wilderness Programme, USA
Take part in environmental projects throughout Nevada's national parks and reserves, in oustanding locations such as Lake Tahoe, the Great Basin, Lake Mead, Death Valley, the Santa Rosa Mountains, the Black Rock Desert and so on, all throughout 2009.
  
Bear Tracking Project, Northern Sweden
Live and work in the Swedish forest in wooden cabins viewing bear, moose, reindeer, beavers and other wild animals. Open to people of all ages, families and nature enthusiasts - short term break, alternative to a holiday!  Places available in August & September 2009.
   
Ocean Spirits Sea Turtle Volunteer Programme, Grenada, Caribbean
Join the project as a Research Assistant volunteer for 3 weeks or more, and take part in leatherback sea turtle night patrols (including flipper tagging, nest excavations, egg counts) and community outreach programmes on the Caribbean island of Grenada.  Work within teams of up to 7.
