Fiji
Working in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society the aim of the project is to create a UNESCO Seascape.   Based on a small island just off  Vanua Levu volunteers will receive dive training to PADI Advanced and Emergency First Response.   Science training will commence in the second week, when volunteers also learn to dive within the UNESCO Code of Scientific Diving Practice.   Completing up to eleven dives a week, volunteers will also have close contact with the local village.   A welcome ceremony, hosted by the village chief, is a perfect introduction to this island paradise.   Accommodation is in traditional Fijian 'bures' (grass huts) on the beach.   Expeditions are available from 6-10 weeks beginning in January, April, July and October.  From £2'200

Central America
Search for lost Mayan ruins and caves, explore remote wilderness areas, learn leadership and jungle survival skills, live with host families, experience two different countries in one programme, swim in the clear coral sea with barracuda and rays, teach in village schools, build communities and make friends for life in this incredible adventure.

Nepal
Working in partnership with the Rural Communities Development Programme (RCDP) in Nepal the aim of the project is to give volunteers a broad experience of this fascinating country and provide the opportunity to give something back to the communities there. The first week in Nepal is spent having Nepali classes and visiting local villages.   Volunteers then travel down to one of the more rural valleys of Nepal where they join the RCDP project for 10 days.  Whilst living with local families they will spend the day working on building resources for local schools.   Travelling further south volunteers visit the Royal Chitwan National Park where an elephant back safari and white water rafting is on offer. Finally volunteers visit Everest Base camp on the way back to Kathmandu.  5 week expedition £1800.   Available in April, July and October.

Medforce Ecuador
Living either in and around Quito or on the stunning Galapagos Islands, volunteers of all levels of experience can get involved assisting doctors and nurses in areas where help improving access to healthcare is really needed.  Placements can be tailored to suit volunteers in specialist areas and Spanish language lessons are available as an add-on. Volunteers will get the chance to experience the varied sights of Ecuador and its vibrant culture. From the football matches to market days, wildlife spotting to visiting the equator there are endless thing to do on days off with the many new friends you’ll make.

Bahamas
Working in partnership with the  Bahamas National Trust  the aim of the project is to create a marine national park and several 'no take' fishing zones.   Based on Andros Island, the largest but least developed of the Bahamian islands, volunteers live in army tents on the beach.   The camp is located next to the third largest barrier reef in the world, and the project aim is to create protected areas of the reef.   Volunteers will receive dive training to PADI Advanced and Emergency First Response.   Science training will commence in the second week, when volunteers also  learn to dive within the UNESCO Code of Scientific Diving Practice.   Completing up to ten dives a week, volunteers will also spend one afternoon a week working in a local school on a marine conservation awareness project.
