Island TEFL

Island TEFL is located on the sun-drenched island of Koh Samui, Thailand - the perfect environment to gain your new TEFL qualification.

They offer three separate packages, designed to suit the needs of future TEFL teachers. All options emphasise the practical aspect of EFL teaching, and will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to begin your new career.

Private accommodation is included with each package, within easy walking distance to the Island TEFL training centre.

 

Package A is:  their 4-week certified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course. In just 4 weeks, you will graduate with an internationally recognised TEFL certificate, allowing you to travel and teach in many countries across the globe.  The Island TEFL certificate is accepted by the Thai Ministry of Education and the Department of Labour.

 

Package B is: their 4-week TEFL course plus a 2-month Volunteer Placement in a local state primary or secondary school.  This option not only improves your resume for future employment opportunities, but allows you to give something back to the local community and immerse yourself in the local Thai culture.

 

 

Duration and Times:

Island TEFL's course is conducted over a 4-week period, Monday to Friday of each week. Classes begin at 9.00am and conclude at 3.00pm each day. Weekends are free to enjoy the many attractions on Koh Samui, or to just chill at the beach.
