Child Action Nepal offers the opportunity to work in both orphanages and become part of a big Nepalese family. You will experience Nepalese culture at first hand and be involved in all the children’s daily activities. Volunteers can join for one month minimum and help children with their studies every day and organise educational games during their vacation.
South Africa Volunteers - is a community based volunteer programme in Port St Johns, a small town located along the Wild Coast of South Africa. Volunteers are needed for their 3 projects, one is a primary school, one is sustainable development in a rural area including community permaculture gardening and the other is healing, support work with a group of HIV women.
Frontiers Foundation - community development projects with First Nations peoples in Northern Canada -Teach, work and build with First Nations People in Northern Canada for medium to long term periods - in return, volunteers receive food, lodging and monthly allowance and an experience of a lifetime living and working in these native communities.
iSPiiCE (Intergrated Social Program in Indian Child Education) is an organisation that builds partnerships between International volunteers and Indian communities, located in Dharamsala/Palampur in Himachal Pradesh State in north of India. Volunteers can work at children's day care centres and with teaching in Primary schools, as well as women's empowerement and community development programmes.
