Volunteer in Africa, Asia and South America and help improve Lives
BUNAC offers a great experience that gives you the chance to make a real difference and change people’s lives. Through their volunteer programmes in Africa, Asia and South America, participants have the opportunity to experience affordable volunteer projects in teaching, community development and meaningful projects that help improve lives.
What volunteer projects can I do?
BUNAC is looking for people to volunteer in countries such as Cambodia, Chile, Ghana, India and South Africa. Volunteers will be contributing to projects in communities where help is most needed. Project areas include:
- Teaching
- Care Work
- Community development
- Working with children
- Raising awareness of HIV/AIDS
If you’re not sure which volunteer projects is for you, don’t worry as every participant will get a one-to-one UK orientation interview to discuss your skills, experience and of course preferences to ensure that you’re assigned to the right project.
How long can I go for?
Volunteer projects can last from three weeks to a year in duration.
Costs
BUNAC volunteer programmes cost as little as £595 for four months.
Who will I be working with?
Volunteer members are placed in existing projects in their chosen destinations, working with local people and other like-minded volunteers from BUNAC, as well as other international volunteers, to help and improve the lives of people abroad.
Where will I be living?
As part of their approach they believe that living with a host family or volunteer housing is the best ways for volunteers to become fully immersed in the local culture.
