  Kefalonia Dolphin and Underwater Research Programme, Greece
The aim of this programme is help take part in dolphin observation and underwater research programmes for scientific surveys around the island of Kefalonia, Greece. Opportunities from May to mid October 2008 now available.
 
Ocean Spirits Volunteer Programme, Grenada, Caribbean
Join the project as a Research Assistant volunteer for 3 week periods, and take part in night patrols, flipper tagging, nest excavations, egg counts and so on, on the Caribbean island of Grenada in a team of 6, starting May 2008.
 
Iceland Wilderness Management Programme, Iceland
Live and work in the heart of pristine Icelandic wilderness, help to remove invasive species, trail work, and way marking.  Volunteers are needed for three week programmes.  Ideal short placement for those interested in experiencing wilderness camping and rugged terrain whilst working to preserve a national park.  As of June 2008.

Statia Conservation Project , St. Eustatius, Caribbean
Work in the tranquil island of St. Eustatius, overlooking the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean Sea, helping to conserve the Marine and Quill National Parks of the St. Eustatius National Parks Foundation.  Volunteers take part in sea turtle monitoring, trail work in and around the dormant volcano, botanical gardening, species monitoring and more all throughout 2008.
 
 
Nevada Wilderness Programme, USA
Work on environmental and ecological restoration projects throughout Nevada's geologically diverse national parks and preserves, including Death Valley, Lake Tahoe, the Great Basin, Lake Mead and so on, from August 2008 onwards.    
 
Cloud Forest Conservation Programme, Ecuador
The aim of this programme is help to conserve a part of the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest by participating in tree planting, trail work, research activities and sustainable living and food production in La Hesperia's Biological Station nature reserve for 2 month periods all throughout 2008 
 
Comoros Islands Conservation Programme, Comoros Islands, Indian Ocean
Volunteers needed for sea turtle conservation and development work within the local community.  A "roots" experience for well travelled volunteers, wanting to experience local living with traditional communities in the Comoros Islands, whilst surveying sea turtles and carrying out environmental work. 
 
Kan Tan Project, Costa Rica
Volunteer opportunities working in the indigenous reserve of Boruca, in Costa Rica, carrying out ecological and organic agricultural work.  Also opportunities for groups to live and participate in activities, such as experiencing indigenous spirituality, craft workshops, discovering cultural practices, building traditional ranchos, and taking part in academic activities related to indigenous and human rights.  Volunteer opportunities throughout 2008 available.
