Volunteers stay at the Taricaya Ecological Reserve which has recently been recognised by the Peruvian government as the best and most effective of its kind in the entire country. 

Volunteers on this project will contribute to important work such as biodiversity studies, animal release programs and trail maintenance. Activities that you could find yourself getting involved in include; studying mammals with motion-sensitive cameras; building and maintaining enclosures; feeding the animals; growing crops; and observing birds from a canopy platform.
