Building toilets for the Y Linh Ho Primary School in Sapa

Currently, the 60 students attending the school in Y Linh Ho, ages 6-10, have no indoor toilets and are forced to go outside, which is especially difficult during the cold Sapa winters. It takes valuable time away from their education, pollutes the environment and creates unsanitary conditions.

It's so easy to make a difference in the lives. YESD, in partnership with Department of Education in San Sa Ho 2 primary school, is now calling for donations to construct school toilets for the children of Y Linh Ho, Sapa. We are carrying out this program and start to receive cash and check donations until 5th August 2016.

In order to implement the toilets construction, our project also needs your kindness by volunteering in one week. We highly welcome 30 volunteers from diverse backgrounds. If you are interested in participating or volunteering, please contact us. Construction skills are not required. What is needed is lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard on a project that will make a huge difference in the lives of these disadvantaged children.

– Cost:
The program fee paid by the volunteer cover in one week which is $397 per person, and $35 non-refundable registration fee.

All of your support is highly appreciated!

When there are no school toilets, a loo break means a long time out of class. So this gift helps give children in Y Linh Ho, Sapa, access to school toilets – keeping students healthy and in class where they belong. We invite you to participate in our Beautiful project and help provide local Vietnamese primary students with a toilet which is a basic facility!
