Turtle Conservation in Indonesia

This is a fantastic project to be a part of, you will get to work closely with the turtles and the local people of Indonesia, you will get to immerse yourself into a fantastic new culture and experience a side of Indonesia that most people don't get to see. 

Your day to day tasks will vary alot depending on the time of year, but you will work alongside permanent members of staff to ensure the projection of sea turtles. Your role will include collecting data, identifying different species of turtles, monitoring nests, collecting live food for turtles, feeding the turtles, cleaning tanks and even releasing turtles into the wild.

You will also have the opportunity to develop a level of Education to your role, learning to teach the local community about the importance of turtle conservation and how everybody can work together to ensure the protection of sea turtles and the greater marine community. You can also get involved in beach cleans with the communities

The project's costs £695 for 2 weeks then an additional £275 per week you join this project. These prices include your accommodation, 3 nutritious meal a day, you airport transfer and your boat to Nusa Penida.
