    The Lang Tengah Turtle Watch is looking for a research volunteer to help sea turtle conservation efforts off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Volunteers join nightly patrols on the beaches in search of nesting mother turtles, inspect nests to ensure all eggs and hatchlings are healthy, and complete other chores around the camp. Afternoons are intentionally free of activities to give volunteers time to themselves. Some activities volunteers engage in during their free time include jungle trekking and snorkeling.     Kapuna Hospital is a health facility situated in the swamp of the Gulf region of Papua New Guinea. The area is very remote with no roads in the area and the nearest airstrip being an hours travel away by motorised dingy. Kapuna hospital serves 35000 people in the area and is the only health service provider for these people. Kapuna Hospital is planning to rebuild the hospital as the facility is 70 years old and is getting run down. We also hope that we can upgrade the hospital from a health centre level to a rural hospital level health facility. We hope to start the project in November.
