Environmental volunteering is an ever-increasing need across Africa and the world over and conservation volunteers are needed for a wide variety of projects. Our environmental volunteer projects around Africa, range from reforestation, sustainable farming practices, biodiversity and ecosystem preservation and national park development to botanical research and tackling pollution. By becoming an environmental conservation volunteer, not only will you be involved in environmental education and research but also hands on activities within some of the most beautiful places on earth. We are currently engaged in fruit tree planting initiatives at schools and homes that give volunteers the opportunity to contribute to environmentally friendly projects that are made sustainable through education and inclusion.
Volunteers also lead grassroots efforts to protect the environment and strengthen understanding of environmental issues. They teach environmental awareness in elementary and secondary schools and to youth groups and community organizations, empowering communities to make their own decisions about how to protect and conserve the local environment. Volunteers also address environmental degradation by promoting sustainable use of natural resources.
