Implementing novel, yet simple and easily replicable approaches, we hope to demonstrate simple solutions to sustainable soil management. The volunteer would be expected to help with the ongoing activities on the farm, and with new ideas of approaches we could implement.
This is an unpaid position. The volunteer is expected to provide $200 per month to Bubugo Conservation Trust to cover accommodation and food. The volunteer is expected to cover all their travel and visa costs to Uganda.
Minimum duration of placement- one month
Located on the banks of the Nile on a white water freestyle wave known as Superhole, Bubugo Conservation Trust is perfectly placed to enjoy the might waters of the Nile, but also observe the impacts of poor land management decisions and the impacts of soil erosion and deforestation on the surrounding environment. We are developing a variety of projects to address this and the poverty within our community which drives these behaviours.
