Become a conservation volunteer in locations across New Zealand. Volunteers will have the opportunity to carry out tree planting, trail construction, wildlife surveying, invasive species control and a range of other environmental volunteer projects.
“Volunteering helps me to connect with the environment. I really enjoy the knowledge sharing session where we get to learn about the plants and trees. I think, after doing these projects, I am more aware about our environment and how we treat it.” Thurha, Past Volunteer

Experience the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, working alongside a team of like-minded volunteers from all over the world, helping to protect important habitats and conserve local flora and fauna.
Conservation volunteers can work in several different locations all across New Zealand. Volunteers will need to arrive at the nearest major city for their chosen placement, and will then travel to the specific conservation area to begin their project.
The weekends are your free time to relax and enjoy some sightseeing of the beautiful local environments or go into town for some more cultural activities. Our staff are always happy to give recommendations if you need some sightseeing ideas!
