"I highly recommend this expedition: It's the experience of a lifetime!"

This expedition is a unique opportunity to experience a totally different lifestyle, far from civilization. I personally switched off my phone to make the most of it.

In this place in Sweden, the wilderness is welcoming as nowhere else: The water is clean, there’s a lot of wood for fire and blueberries are everywhere! Even if we didn’t have the chance to spot a bear, we saw many other animals and traces of them and we learned a lot about them.

Seb is a great guide, full of enthusiasm and who knows (almost) everything about the wilderness! He managed to communicate his enthusiasm to the group and get us to do what needed to be done, without ever being bossy. He taught us how to set up camp, how to make fire, etc. with great patience.

During this 21-days-trip, I never got bored and I even had little time to read! There was always something new to discover, observe or learn. On top of that, the life in our “pack” of eight people who didn’t know each other before, was great: We laughed a lot and the spirit was always one of cooperation, never of competition.

I highly recommend this expedition: It’s the experience of a lifetime! Given the chance, I would go back tomorrow!

“I am very thankful for the opportunity I had to join in this amazing expedition.”

“The Deep wilderness wildlife monitoring expedition has just come to an end. Looking back on my experience I can say I got more than my money’s worth. Next to the peace, I found in the valley, I feel that we really bonded as a group, and I learned a lot of skills that I am really grateful for. Seb is a leader of a kind and always managed to keep the spirits high, even when the weather conditions were a bit demanding. I am very thankful for the opportunity I had to join in this amazing expedition. The dinners were amazing.

Thanks again for everything and I really hope to see you again sometime! Good luck with the upcoming projects.”

“…strangers became true friends, growing day after day a strong and meaningful bond.”

“It’s difficult to describe three weeks in the wilderness in just a few words. I’ll start with the people: five people who didn’t know each other became a group. Five strangers became true friends, growing day after day a strong and meaningful bond. That’s something very valuable and normally very rare, but maybe it’s just what normally happens when you share so many little daily things and great experiences in the wild.

Then there is the nature. You can really tell that what you are seeing, the ground you are walking, everything is truly wild, truly untouched. It’s not always easy, nature is harsh, is true, it won’t give you anything for free. But if you learn to adapt, to follow the natural flow of the wild, to stand when the situation demands a reaction, you will soon begin to grow a new and deeper perception about nature around you. You will not only overcome every obstacle, but you will understand when there is no need to. And you will feel truly alive and truly connected with a world that is not offering you comforts and beautiful lies. It’s offering you the truth of nature.

And through this journey, you won’t be alone! Your comrades, your fellows will be there for you, especially your guide, Sebastian. He will guide you, teach you, help you, but he will also let you find your own way. And, in the meanwhile, he will never stop quoting films and tv shows to make you laugh and forget that you are freezing.”

"An amazing and unique experience”

“The team gave me an amazing and unique experience, something I will never forget for the rest of my life. Thanks, Seb for the outdoor skills and everything else you taught me, they will be very useful in the future. Thanks again for the last 3 weeks! I will miss the valley and wish you all the best.”

“… three weeks gave me the time to really enjoy the peace…”

“First, I want to thank the team again for all your efforts, I admire all the work that is put in the organisation and preparation. My experience was very pleasant, I learned useful skills, cool information, and some things about myself as well. I was very happy with the length of the expedition, the 3 weeks gave me the time to really explore the valley, enjoy the peace and really get to know and connect with the group. It also made it more challenging than 2 weeks for instance, which I liked. Seb came across as confident and he made us feel as comfortable as possible (emotionally and physically), this makes him easy to trust and professional. Seb also kept the mood lifted and he was relaxed and flexible.
My suggestion is that you keep doing what you are doing because you are good at it. 🙂

I wish you the best and I hope we may see each other again sometime.”
