Join a team of passionate marine biologists and conservationists in the field and get hands-on experience working on marine research and conservation projects. Assist with scientific monitoring projects, citizen science initiatives and explore the kelp forests whilst on fish and shark surveys with the research team. During your stay, you will participate in research projects monitoring the African kelp forests, shark and fish species of False Bay. You will also get involved with a wide range of other activities including community awareness and education campaigns, organising and assisting on beach cleans, local school visits, and microplastic sampling projects.
