Overview
Volunteers are needed to help with ecological restoration and reforestation in the region of Úlfljótsvatn lake in the southwest of Iceland. Parts of the area have been heavily eroded or degraded and are in an urgent need of attention. Volunteers will assist with the reforesting in the area, by planting seedlings and by fertilising young trees.

Testimonial
“Overall the program was so much better than I ever could have imagined. Úlfljótsvatn and the farmhouse were beautifully serene, the perfect place to spend 2 weeks working with reforestation.” Kasie Kirkpatrick, USA

Highlights
This project can give you an opportunity to make an environmental difference, plant trees that will bind carbon from the atmosphere, create shelter for other life and battle soil erosion. Live and work in the stunning southern part of Iceland in the Golden Circle.
