Sweden Sweden

"Looking back on my experience I can say I got more than my money’s worth. Next to the peace, I found in the valley, I feel that we really bonded as a group, and I learned a lot of skills that I am really grateful for. I am very thankful for the opportunity I had to join in this amazing expedition. The dinners were amazing. "

Yorrick Grobben, the Netherlands

Sweden is a nordic country that stretches from the Baltic Sea to the Arctic circle and includes vast swathes of dense, deep forests; glistening, clear lakes and snow-tipped, rugged mountains. Edged along, and occasionally nuzzled within, these magnificent natural landscapes are stretching cityscapes and colourful, small towns. You can visit the vibrant and modern Stockholm in the south or the medieval and hauntingly beautiful Visby in the north. The untamed terrain also provides habitat to some of the world’s most beautiful animals, from the smallest arctic fox to the largest brown bear.

Home to the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun as well as charming, colourful architecture, Sweden will steal your heart both with incredible natural beauty and enchanting city streets. And if it doesn’t do it with that, the exuberant, colourful and bright festivals that celebrate the coming of summer will at least leave the warmest glow in your heart.

The Scandinavian Mountain range holds some of the last areas of true untouched nature in Europe. Some of the vegetation in these mountains started growing just after the last ice age had ended. There are literally thousands of hectares where there has never been anything but feet, hoofs or paws touching the ground.
